Rozelle Parklands

As part of the Rozelle Parklands Facilities Enhancement project, two multi-sport courts were delivered at the Rozelle Interchange, transforming the former rail yards into an accessible, high-use recreation space. Designed to accommodate basketball, netball, futsal and general play, the courts were surfaced with Rebound Ace Synpave for durability, UV-resistance and all-weather slip-resistance. A striking colour scheme enhanced visibility for players and visual appeal, while adjacent hit-up walls were coated in Rebound Ace Sports & Rec to expand the space’s versatility for both casual and skills-based training.

THE IMPACT

Positioned at the heart of Sydney’s Inner West, the courts are a dynamic addition to one of the city’s most significant urban renewal projects. By providing safe, visually striking surfaces for community sport, this installation supports long-term recreational use and reflects a broader commitment to activating public space through inclusive, high-quality infrastructure.
